Enid G. Hay, LMSW

Ms. Hay has over 20 years combined experience working in non-profit organization, behavioral health services, community/faith-based social programs and skilled care facilities.  She is dedicated to serving the vulnerable population with emphasis on children and youth, youth with developmental disabilities and the frail elderly.   As part of her current position, she fosters collaborative partnerships with community-based organizations, businesses, churches and community groups to develop programs that serve residents of Mount Vernon and the adjoining communities.

 

Among her interests and service, she counts fostering youth with Autism, helping  homeless families at HELPUSA, INC, Mount Vernon and the elderly at the Jewish Home and Lifecare, New York.  Ms. Hay is  certified by the North American Family Institute (NAFI); is a Certified Caregiving Coach program (LC3) with Westchester County Senior Programs and Services; and a Forensic Social Worker (intern) with the Legal Aid Society of Westchester County.

 

Ms. Hay’s educational background and accomplishments include a degree of Master of Science in Social Work, Columbia University School of Social work, New York; Bachelor of Arts (Area of Interest in Psychology), College of New Rochelle, New York.  Ms. Hay was awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Jewish Home and Life care for her service in Geriatric Care.

 

Ms. Hay is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and is licensed to practice in the State of New York.
